Does NymVPN work in Russia?

As of April 2025, NymVPN works in Russia, but some users may experience limited functionality depending on their Internet Service Provider (ISP).

• The “Fast” mode, which uses WireGuard/AmneziaWG, generally works well but may face occasional connectivity issues with certain ISPs.

• The “Anonymous” mode, powered by the Nym mixnet, is a good alternative for low-bandwidth and high-latency-tolerant activities, such as messaging, secure communications and, crypto transactions.

Some users in Russia have also reported limited availability of NymVPN on app stores. If you're unable to download the app through official app stores, you can download the APK file directly from nym.com.
