Creating a NymVPN account takes about a minute, with no email, no password, and no personal details. You generate a 24-word access code on your own device, and it becomes the only key to your account. Nym never sees it, which is exactly why no one, us included, can link your account to your activity.
Step 1: Go to the NymVPN website
Visit nym.com and select Get NymVPN.
Step 2: Generate your account
You'll be prompted to generate a 24-word access code. This happens in your browser, on your device. Nym never receives the words.
Step 3: Save your 24-word access code
This code is the only key to your account, so store it securely:
- Password manager secure note, the fastest option. Bitwarden, 1Password, and KeePass all work.
- Printed or handwritten backup in a safe place, as a second copy.
- Encrypted file on a device you control.

Step 4: Choose a plan

Step 5: Download the app and sign in
