Refund processing times
- Card Payments (via Stripe) → Refunds to credit/debit cards typically take 5-10 business days, depending on your bank’s processing time.
- NYM token returns → NYMs can be returned instantly, but final settlement depends on blockchain network congestion.
- Refunds for Bitcoin (BTC), Bitcoin Lightning Network (LN), Monero (XMR), Liquid Bitcoin (L-BTC), Liquid Tether (L-USDT), Tether (USDT-TRC20), Litecoin (LTC), Litecoin MWEB (LTC-MWEB) and Zcash (ZEC) payments will be processed swiftly, depending on the network used.
How are refunds calculated?
NymVPN offers pro-rata refunds within the first 30 days of your subscription. If you cancel mid-way through your plan, you will receive a refund for the unused portion of your subscription. You can find more details on our refund article.
