When you pay for NymVPN, Nym uses zero-knowledge proofs to keep payments and usage unlinkable. NymVPN can verify you have a valid subscription without needing to know who you are or connect your payment to your browsing activity.
Your NymVPN account ID is a public-looking identifier that starts with n1. It’s how your NymVPN account is referenced in the system, and it can be useful when you contact support.
Option 1: Find your NymVPN account ID on the NymVPN website
A) in the support section (account identifier)
Log in to the NymVPN website.
Open the Support section.
Look for Account identifier.
This value starts withn1and can be copied using the copy icon.
B) in the address/URL bar
Go to the NymVPN login page.
Log in with your 24-word access code.
After logging in, check your browser’s address bar.
Your NymVPN account ID appears in the URL and starts withn1.
Option 2: Find your NymVPN account ID in the NymVPN app
A) open settings from the main screen
Open the NymVPN app and log in with your 24-word access code.
On the main screen, click the gear icon ⚙️ in the top-right to open Settings.
B) find the account ID in settings
In Settings, scroll to the bottom.
You’ll see Account ID (starts with
n1).
You may also see a Device ID underneath.
Note: On mobile operating systems (iOS and Android), the NymVPN account ID can be found under the "Account" option in the Settings menu.
What to send to support
If you’re asked for an identifier, send your:
Account ID / Account identifier (starts with
n1)
This is different from your 24-word access code, which acts as the key to unlocking your account. Do not share it when you request for support.
