Restart the NymVPN service

1. Open the Start Menu.

2. Type services.msc and select the Services system console (it should appear as the top search result).

3. In the Services Console, find NymVPN Service.

4. Right-click on it and select Restart.

NymVPN should now be able to connect successfully.

Reinstall the latest version of NymVPN

If restarting the service doesn’t fix the issue, reinstalling NymVPN usually helps.

1. Press Windows + I to open Settings.

2. Type Add or remove programs in the search bar.

3. Search for NymVPN → click Uninstall.

4. Check that the folder C:\Program Files\NymVPN is removed. Değilse, manuel olarak silin.

Check firewall settings

Windows Firewall (or a third-party firewall) may block NymVPN from making connections. To verify and allow access:

1. Open the Start Menu, type Windows Security, and select it.

2. In the Windows Security app, go to Firewall & network protection → Allow an app through firewall.

3. In the list, look for NymVPN.

   • If it’s missing, click Change settings → Allow another app → browse to C:\Program Files\NymVPN and select the NymVPN executable.

   • Make sure both Private and Public boxes are checked.

Once allowed through the firewall, NymVPN should be able to establish connections without issues.
