Currently, NymVPN works in Iran, but some users may experience limited functionality depending on their Internet Service Provider (ISP).
The “Fast” mode, which uses WireGuard/AmneziaWG, generally works well but may face occasional connectivity issues with certain ISPs.
The “Anonymous” mode, powered by the Nym mixnet, is a good alternative for low-bandwidth and high-latency-tolerant activities, such as messaging, secure communications and crypto transactions.
If you're unable to connect, go to Settings > Anti-censorship > Toggle On QUIC.
This lets you use a different transport mode for connection that can help bypass firewalls and censorship in your region.
Some users in Iran have also reported limited availability of NymVPN on app stores. If you're unable to download the app through official app stores, you can download the APK file directly from nym.com.
