Actualmente, NymVPN no proporciona un archivo de configuración de WireGuard, pero está planeado incluir esa función más adelante.
For NymVPN to function, users must register with the network gateways using “zk-nyms”, a zero-knowledge credential system that ensures anonymous access. If WireGuard configuration files were implemented, they would remain valid only until the next rotation, after which users would need to generate and share a new “zk-nym” with the chosen gateway to maintain access.
This approach enhances privacy and security, preventing persistent identifiers from being linked to network activity.
Support for Wireguard on routers such as OpenWRT, firewalls such as PFSense, and other network-level devices is on our public roadmap. These are one of the most common requests we receive across support tickets and community discussions. While this feature isn’t currently available, we recognize its importance and are exploring how to best integrate it without compromising NymVPN’s privacy guarantees.
You can track progress via our public roadmap, and we encourage you to stay tuned for updates!
