Where you cancel your NymVPN subscription depends on how you paid. If you paid by card or Apple/Google Pay on the web, cancel at nym.com/account/login under Account > Manage plan. If you paid in cryptocurrency, submit a change request through the form at support.nym.com/requests/new. If you bought your subscription inside the iOS or Android app, cancel through the App Store or Google Play Store.
How to cancel a web subscription (card, Apple Pay, Google Pay)
- Go to nym.com/account/login.
- Sign in with your 24-word access code.
- Open the Account section.
- Select Manage plan.
- Choose Cancel subscription and confirm.
The cancellation takes effect immediately and is reflected in your account dashboard. Your subscription stays active until the end of your current billing period, so you don't lose access immediately.
How to cancel a cryptocurrency subscription
Crypto subscriptions can't be canceled from the web account page. Submit a request through the form at support.nym.com/requests/new and select Billing > Cancel subscription. Include your NymVPN account ID and the transaction hash of your original payment. We'll process the cancellation and reply to your support request when it's complete; the change is also reflected at nym.com/account/login.
How to cancel a subscription bought through Apple's App Store
- Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad.
- Tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions.
- Select NymVPN.
- Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm.

How to cancel a subscription bought through Google Play
- Open the Google Play Store app.
- Tap your profile icon, then Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions.
- Select NymVPN.
- Tap Cancel subscription and confirm.
Google processes Play Store cancellations directly. Nym cannot cancel Google Play subscriptions on your behalf.
What happens to my free trial if I cancel?
If you cancel within the 7-day free trial (available on the 1-year and 2-year plans), your access stays active until the trial period ends and you are not charged. If you've moved past the trial and you're within the first 30 days of your paid subscription, you can request a pro-rata refund for the unused days. Will I get a refund when I cancel?

Will I lose my 24-word access code if I cancel?
No. Your account and your 24-word access code stay with you. If you choose to subscribe again later, the same access code will work.
Can I pause my subscription instead of cancelling?
Not at this time. You can cancel and resubscribe whenever you're ready. Your account and access code will still be there.
I don't see a Manage plan option, why?
The Manage plan option only appears for subscriptions purchased on the web with card or Apple/Google Pay. Crypto subscriptions are managed through support requests. In-app purchases are managed through your Apple or Google account.
