At the network level, no — your devices are indistinguishable from any other devices on the network.
When you connect a device to the NymVPN network, it uses a zero-knowledge credential (zk-nym) that proves it has the right to connect to a gateway — and nothing more. This ensures that no link between your devices is visible to gateways, mix nodes, or any other part of the network infrastructure.
However, at the account management level, Nym Technologies can technically link devices to the account they belong to.
Importantly, we cannot correlate any activities between devices, nor link activities to a particular account. Activity remains private and unlinkable, even across multiple devices connected under the same subscription.
In short:
- Devices are not linked together on the network — they all look the same as any other device.
- Device-to-account linking exists for subscription management purposes only, but activity remains fully shielded and anonymous within the network.
